Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year for How the Dead Dream by Lydia Millet and The Solitary Vice by Mikita Brottman

And, while it is not strictly a "Best Book" type thing, The Customer Is Always Wrong edited by Jeff Martin was this week's book pick for The Very Short List—listen out for the author detailing the travails of the retail worker on NPR's All Things Considered the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday.
